Making the Most of Naidex 2026
We know that many of our members are always on the lookout for the latest developments in MS care and independent living. With Naidex 2026 just around the corner (25th–26th March), we’ve curated a few “don’t miss” highlights specifically for the MS community.
The Neuro Rehab Zone
Previously a separate event, the Neuro Rehab show is now fully integrated into Naidex. For those of us focused on MS, this is the heart of the event.
The Innovation Hub: Keep an eye out for live demonstrations of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) and robotic-assisted gait training. These technologies are at the forefront of managing mobility challenges like foot drop.
Latest Research: There is a buzz this year around new pilot studies being discussed in the seminar theatres, including innovative physical therapy interventions like “backward walking” programmes designed to improve balance and neuroplasticity in MS patients.
Speaker Highlights
The 2026 lineup features some incredible voices who understand the nuances of living with a neurological condition:
Dr. Mohamed Sakel: A leading expert in neuro-rehabilitation who will be discussing how emerging clinical technologies are being used to improve long-term outcomes.
Jay Howard & Shani Dhanda: These keynote speakers provide fantastic insights into navigating life, work, and travel with a disability—perfect for those looking for practical “life hacks” and advocacy tips.
The “Try Before You Buy” Experience
One of the best parts of Naidex is the ability to get hands-on with equipment:
Mobility Test Track: Test out the latest lightweight powerchairs, like the new WHILL C Lite, which is launching at the show this year.
Home Adaptations: Explore the Accessibility Hub for smart-home tech that can help manage daily tasks on those days when MS fatigue is at its peak.
Note for Members: Attendance is free, but you must register for a ticket online.
