We are absolutely thrilled to share what an incredible success our inaugural Golf Day was on Friday, 10th July, at Marple Golf Club. This debut collaboration brought together the MS Therapy Centre NW and Marple Rugby Club for the very first time, held in honour of club legend and our own wonderful Trustee, Tony Hughes.
The excitement built early during the morning setup. Goodie bags were packed with fresh chocolate chip cookies, and the aroma of bacon baps and sausage rolls filled the air as players arrived to fuel up before heading out to the course.
Highlights from the Day
The event perfectly blended a fantastic community spirit with an impactful cause:
- The Competition: Teams of four took to the green following the afternoon tee-off, making for a absolutely fabulous day of golf.
- The Evening Festivities: The excitement continued post-round with great food, a raffle, and a lively auction featuring highly sought-after prizes.
- The Entertainment: The night wrapped up on a high note with brilliant live music from A Few Good Men.
