This summer, from July 1st to September 18th, 2024 (80 days), Team MS Therapy Centre (NW) is going on an amazing adventure. We will try to go all the way around the world! The journey is inspired by the book “Around the World in 80 Days” by Jules Verne. Our team will try to travel 26,000 miles in 80 days.
Our team has people of all abilities. Some will run, some will walk, some will wheel, some will cycle, and some will hop, skip, and jump. We will do this as a virtual event, which means we won’t actually travel around the world, but we will track our progress as if we are. Please join us if you can and become a member of our team and we will chart our collective progress at the end of each week.
Your kind donations will help raise funds for Phase 2 of our new MS Therapy Centre in Eccles, Greater Manchester. Our centre helps people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other long-term health conditions.
Our charity wants to make life better for people with these conditions. We do this by providing therapies in a friendly, caring, and positive place. Our therapies help people to have a better quality of life. We are a self-help group and a UK registered charity. We try to help all people with MS and other long-term conditions, who come to us from across the North West.
